For the past five years, Versus has partnered with CBS Sports to produce animated segments for NFL today, dubbed “Quick Facts.”  These one-minute narrative animations are both fun and timely, but being topical comes at a cost. The team has just FIVE DAYS to concept, create and release their work to the world.  In an industry where everyone is desperate for more time, “if only I had another week, I could have created a masterpiece,” Versus charged headfirst into the challenge and Motionographer was there every step of the way with a daily diary that led readers experience the rising tension of a looming deadline and how the best in the business handle the pressure.

‘Twas the night before Christmas’ was a holiday themed animated segment that longtime partners CBS Sports and Versus created to spotlight the craziness behind this year’s AFC Playoffs race.  To match the wild nature of this crowded race, Versus used a variety of styles: 2D, 3D, mograph, illustration, and collage, leaning heavily into each style where it made the most sense for the story being told.
